Loucks Paints Custom KitchenAid Stand Mixers

Renowned home appliance brand KitchenAid has collaborated with world-renowned graphic artist Dean Loucks this holiday season for custom-made stand mixers. The hand-painted, limited editions of KitchenAid’s legendry stand mixer will be individually created, numbered and signed by the Indiana-based artist. Dean Loucks, owner of The Art of Design and Dean’s Place Fine Art Gallery, is known for his custom designs on powerboats, helicopters, motor coaches and other things. Beth Robinson, senior brand experience manager for KitchenAid, said that they expect the exclusively hand-painted stand mixers to be on the holiday wish lists for many.

The limited run has six original designs, which include Leopard, Snow Leopard and Noir Leopard, a zebra-striped Serengeti model, a floral-inspired Golden Petals design and Shimmer that comes with the artist’s signature blue flowers. In all, Loucks has done over 30 different designs for KitchenAid’s stand mixers. The limited edition stand mixers are the KitchenAid’s tilt-head model that boasts 10 mixing speeds and a five-quart capacity glass bowl with measurement markings. The limited edition stand mixer sells for $1,899.
