About the Artist

For nearly 40 years, artist Dean Loucks has pushed the boundaries of what is possible.  Whether using his signature style to create fine art that looks real enough to touch, or transforming a 70-foot racing craft into what the press is calling “the most photographed boat in the world,” Dean’s work captures an enthusiasm and kinetic vibrancy that grabs the eye and doesn’t let it go.

Hailed as a “Genius” by Air Brush Action magazine, Dean and his company TAOD (The Art of Design) have garnered a world-wide reputation for turning ordinary machines into moving pieces of art.  Whether he’s transforming a boat, helicopter, race car or motorcoach, Dean’s meticulous attention to detail and forward-thinking innovation and design set these moving canvases apart from the masses and ensure each of his customers receives a true one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

With clients ranging from country music royalty to steel magnates to motorcoach manufacturers to everyday people, Dean enjoys working closely with his customers to bring their artistic visions to life.  With his airbrush and his imagination, there really is no limit to what he can do.
